As Program Associate of Methodology and Practice, Tramia is the program manager for From Brown v. Board to Ferguson, an innovative three-year program linking eleven museums and community partners to create dialogue programs and train youth in activism around issues of race, mass incarceration and education equity in the context of civil rights. She also manages the Coalition’s Project Support Fund, which provides grants to members for innovative projects in their communities. Tramia serves as the North American Network liaison, and provides direct services to over 100 museums, historic sites and archives. Before joining the Coalition, Tramia served as the Director of Education at the Fredericksburg Area Museum & Cultural Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia and Tourism & Special Projects Consultant for Stafford County Economic Development & Tourism in Stafford, Virginia. Tramia received her Master’s Degree in History Museum Studies from the Cooperstown Graduate Program.
