As Communications Associate, Programs, Camila supports the Global Initiative for Justice, Truth and Reconciliation and the Coalition’s Global Networks. She helps in the production of materials for workshops, trainings, meetings, and other resources for members of the Coalition, GIJTR Consortium partners, and local CSOs. Previously, Camila served in the Coalition’s Programs Department, where she coordinated virtual programming and social networks.
In 2017, Camila received her BA in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She also holds an MA in International Affairs with a major in Urban Cities and Social Justice from The New School, New York. Since an early age, Camila has been deeply involved in the nonprofit sector, working with local and international organizations in Spain, South Africa, and the United States. Born and raised in Ecuador, Camila has a passion for learning from other cultures and finding best practices to be replicated worldwide. Today, she expects to continue developing her knowledge within the nonprofit sector while supporting local projects that contribute to the respect and enhancement of human rights.
