As the Director of Finance & Operations, Michael Allegretti is responsible for leadership and oversight of all the Coalition’s financial functions, risk assessment, information technology, office operations and human resources. Michael has worked in nonprofit management and finance for over 15 years. Most recently, he served as the Director of Operations & Finance at the Medicare Rights Center where he was responsible for overseeing the fiscal and administrative functions of the organization. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Institute on Medicine as a Profession and the Departmental Administrator/Financial Manager of Columbia University’s Center on Medicine as a Profession for over a decade working under the direction of Drs. Sheila and David Rothman.
