Established in 2004, the Museum and Memorial provide exhibitions and resources for individuals and groups to learn about Cambodian history and culture, as well as a peaceful site for survivors to unite and heal. This one-of-a-kind institution raises awareness of the Cambodian genocide and celebrates the renewal of Cambodian community and culture here in the United States. The Killing Fields Memorial, located adjacent to the Museum, is an intimate space where visitors may honor the two million Cambodians tragically lost in the Cambodian genocide between 1975 and 1979.
