International Institute of Learning for Social Reconciliation (Guatemala)

The International Institute of Learning for Social Reconciliation (IIARS) is a private non-profit organization that aims to provide a forum to discuss and learn about the problems facing Guatemalans in the field of social reconciliation as a result of armed conflict and the long history of racism and social exclusion experienced by the country. IIARS develops and disseminates learning methodologies and materials that contribute to the work of teachers in the classroom and to enabling new forms of democratic life in Guatemalan society.
