Kdei Karuna (Cambodia)

Kdei Karuna Organization (KdK) is an innovative, politically neutral NGO that has worked in Cambodia’s peacebuilding community for more than ten years. KdK employs participatory community-engaged approaches to build sustainable peace. KdK has implemented truth-telling and memorialization initiatives between a number of groups, including former Khmer Rouge (KR) cadres and victims, ethnic minorities, women and men, youth, and local authorities. Our programs utilize creative and non-threatening ways to reflect upon conflicts stemming from the past and upon difference. Our methods are combining for comprehensive intervention based on local contexts, including Dialogue for healing, Forum Theatre, Oral history, and Creative Outreach for education.
