The New Americans Museum strives to promote understanding and interaction between newcomers and native-born Americans while helping our newest citizens connect with and prosper in their new homeland. The museum’s new home at the NTC Promenade, Liberty Station, is located at the historic Naval Training Center, placing it in the center of San Diego’s flagship destination for arts, culture, science, and technology. As a public forum venue, it invites other organizations to partner with the New Americans Museum on programming that includes oral and visual history projects; visual and performing arts; cultural events; lectures and speaker series; conferences; and exhibitions. A catalyst for celebration of America’s past and promise, the museum provides inspiring educational and cultural programs to honor the country’s diverse immigrant experiences.
