Nonviolence International Southeast Asia (NVI) is a nongovernment organization which has been working on peacebuilding, conflict transformation, humanitarian disarmament, and supporting peace processes in the region since 1992. In 2005, Nonviolence International was granted NGO in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations.
NVI Southeast Asia is involved in various campaigns and treaty negotiations and was a board member of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL) and regional lead in the Cluster Munitions Coalition (CMC). NVI Southeast Asia is serving as a Board Member of the global Control Arms Campaign pushing for universalization of the Arms Trade Treaty in the region, a member of the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience, a member of the International Network on Explosive Weapons (INEW) and co-convener of the Stop Bombing campaign, and a member of the Stop Killer Robots Campaign.
