About the Network

The Asia and the Pacific Regional Network brings together historic sites, museums and memory initiatives to promote ethnic and religious pluralism, and human dignity. Asia-Pacific Sites of Conscience open dialogue on some of the most pressing human rights and social justice issues and inspire communities to become actively engaged in addressing these.

As a result of the regional planning process in late 2020, the Asia and the Pacific Sites of Conscience Network committed to work towards building:

equitable, inclusive, and secular societies that respect difference and diversity, ensure access to human rights and justice, and contribute to strengthening the prevention of hatred and violent conflict to promote human dignity.
